WE DID IT OUR WAY
The club has been striving towards this moment since 2012 (then Mazenod United FC) begun its journey in the Metropolitan South East League where quickly ascending from State League 5 in 2013 to State League 2 in 2017.
The club has made history today, in its inaugural year as Mazenod Victory FC to achieve promotion to State League 1.
With results coming down to the wire, it was a nail-biting end to the season. Thanks to Mooroolbark Soccer Club containing our neighbours Brandon Park FC to a draw, the goals from Vinnie Vasquez (2), Lennon Whewell (2) and Anthony Hammer proved vital as the entire team battled it out to the final whistle against Peninsula Strikers, with promotion coming down to goal difference. The 5-3 win helped MVFC gain promotion to State League 1.
Congratulations to the coaches Michael Inglese and Stef Rudzki, the team managers and all the players who have fought to the very end for promotion.
